Pauli Ward,


ABATE of Illinois, Inc.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that ABATE of Illinois shares the passing of Pauli Ward, who left us last night.

Pauli meant the world to this organization. For more than 40 years, she was our backbone, our constant, and a tireless freedom fighter for motorcyclists across Illinois. Her dedication, strength, and unwavering commitment helped shape ABATE of Illinois into what it is today.

Her passion for the motorcycling community, her willingness to always step up, and her fierce advocacy for riders' rights touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pauli's family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.

We ask our ABATE family to keep them close in your hearts during this incredibly difficult time.

Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

Rest easy, Pauli. Your legacy rides on forever.

About

Our Mission

Actively engage in the political process by supporting laws and regulations that protect the rights of motorcyclists, and opposing laws and regulations that infringe on motorcyclists' rights.  Help prevent motorcycle accidents through Rider Education and Motorcycle Awareness programs.  Foster political awareness and political involvement within our membership.  Promote a positive image of the motorcycling community to the general public.

Meetings

Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Social Junkie, 3848 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago  Meetings start at 7:00 pm.  You do not have to be member to attend, but we're hoping you will be when you leave.
